Having endured the life long pursuit of being an artist, I also came to study the principles of art with a never ceasing passion. My studies are cultivated in my body of works, which will continue for decades to come. With the highest degree of excellence I integrate life into my works. It is now that I implement current design elements into each painting to give them a living pulse and energy. Whether I paint a landscape, seascape, figural, floral, animal or still life, my seasoned approach to painting the subject is not just to render an object. My evolved impressionistic style is one of composing, using gestural brushstrokes of color, arranging light and shadow patterns to erupt a three dimensional scene that takes you inside it's space. It must translate a scene to fill the viewer with a sense of movement, a sense of place, a renewed emotion, like a poem or song that touches the empty heart.
What I see in nature with my eyes is colored by my inner images and spirit so that I absorb a unique perception of my subject. Projecting the new vision on the canvas surface and materializing the final painting gives me triumphant euphoria. It is my quest to translate the natural high or euphoria to the viewer of the art.
For art is my cornerstone in this existence.
